Mexico City Travel Journal: An Oasis in Passing
The years bleed into each, and this first post is about a recollection, not a future.
My passage in Condessa is short, but fertile.
The AirBnB we stay at is bright and minimal, with cheap but efficient and harmonious finishing, a few pieces of higher-end furniture sprinkled throughout. I would stay here again should I need a two bedroom apartment in Mexico City.
A perfectly adequate passing-through place.
Outside, the oasis-like neighbourhoods spreads like an unexpectedly growing tropical fruit. In all directions, the buildings - old and new - blend with lush gardens, avenues lined with healthy trees The lines of the city remain clean though more organic than elsewhere. I remain in love.
