and fog

It’s now been over a year. Some days feel like before (way before), some disappointingly similar to yesterday, to tomorrow. The sky, though, remains unbothered, mostly sunny, occasionally moody. And when it expresses things in the way the constant cloud cover of Vancouver or London would, we slow down. Even further than we have lately. We walk, nearly alone in the streets, with only our meandering thoughts and the occasional passerby. Nine and five o’clocks unfurl meaninglessly.
